The Touratech Suspension DDA / Plug & Travel suspension kit is a top-of-the-line suspension system for your BMW R1200GS/R1250GS with BMW DDC Autoleveling. This premium suspension system is purpose-built for long-haul trips with a lot of luggage, on all types of road surfaces and even off-road. DDA / Plug & Travel shock absorbers from Touratech Suspension easily replace the BMW DDC shock absorbers. The existing handlebar connectors and switches are kept and used as before. As a result, the Touratech suspension system becomes an integrated part of the motorcycle via the original BMW control unit. You can continue to use the different driving modes and load settings on the BMW display.

All you have to do is ride with the Touratech suspension system, which adapts to the adventurer in you.

This Touratech Suspension DDA / Plug & Travel Suspension kit is built with the same high quality components and parts that have been proven in our shock absorbers over thousands of miles of revs in the toughest situations. The powerful DDA valve, invented and patented by Tractive, is at the heart of this suspension system. This allows the damping to respond to any driving situation in a fraction of a second. Our shock absorbers have a larger piston diameter, which means more oil volume, to withstand the rigors of long haul. With a high damping frequency, this ensures better cooling.

The basic setup installed here is suitable for riders with extra luggage up to 100 kg. For a larger rider (over 100 kg) and/or if the bike is usually ridden with a passenger/luggage, adjustments are possible. In this situation we adapt the shock absorber to your specifications by fitting a spring with a higher spring rate. Please complete our suspension check and send it to us.
