• Kriega Fork Seals are incredibly simple to install. They attach using hook and loop fabric, thus disassembling the fork is not necessary. Fork seals made of neoprene work best when they are clean and brand new. Fork protectors from the past are hard to clean underneath; our design makes it possible to clean them after each ride if necessary. They can be installed without cable ties, however utilising them to shield the Neokin from the fork slider can extend their lifespan.
• NB: Full-wrap fork sliders, which are common on Husaberg and KTM models made after 2008, have a very low tolerance for the plastic dust-cover rings at the fork's end and can quickly wear through any type of neoprene cover. Either install KTM fork sliders made for the 2007 model year, or take out the black plastic rings at the fork's end and use cable ties to install. The neoprene will at some time very quickly wear through due to the full-wrap guard and the plastic rings in place. Since the hole is in a non-critical region, it has no impact on the Fork Seal's performance, but it may look unkempt.Regardless of the approach you choose, it truly does pay to use neoprene fork covers because they significantly increase the fork's service life.
