The Abus GRANIT Detecto XPlus 8008 2.0 is a brake disc lock with an integrated alarm, designed to protect a parked motorbike against theft. It uses a 16 mm thick locking bolt made of specially hardened steel, and an integrated electronic warning system triggers a 100 dB alarm for 15 seconds if anyone attempts to move the locked bike, after which the lock automatically re-arms itself. Integrated 3D position detection technology reacts to the slightest movement, and the ABUS XPlus cylinder offers protection against lock picking.
