For  US-10 and US-20 tailpacks and US-10, US-20, and US-30 DRYPACKS, upgrade alloy hooks are available.

• For previous US-10 and 20 pack generations, upgrade alloy hook straps (standard on post 2012 product). Tailpack combinations of up to 90 litres are permitted by an extra secure sub-frame fitting kit. Almost every style of bike can be fitted using fitting straps. especially appropriate for traditional single-piece seats or seat-pads/racks that are bolted on.

Fitting

• NB: The seat-pad or base of certain bicycles already has web loops attached. Due to the Kriega loops' superior strength when attached to the subframe rather than the seat, we nevertheless advise their installation in this situation.
• Find the optimal attachment locations on the rear subframe by removing the bike seat. If there is no exposed metalwork on the subframe, it could be necessary to slot the internal plastic tray. Securely fasten the 4x 20mm web loops to the frame's high-strength regions. The length of the 20mm loops can be altered. The seat or pad should be installed while making any final adjustments. To lock-off the webbing after it has been set, the web must be looped back through the adjuster. On this page, you may find a threading diagram. Hook on the web loop, fasten the top quick-release buckle, and tighten the bag onto the bike to fit the US-pack. To control the loose ends, always use the 2 x strap keepers on the web.Please make sure the quick-release buckles are properly "clicked" as well.
