The RALLY engine guard protects everything on your R1200GS, from the manifold to the catalytic converter. It fits all R1200GS and Adventure models with water cooling, including the 2017 model update! We also considered compatibility with the original BMW and Touratech crash bars during development. There are no distracting welds, which are generally regarded a weak area, thanks to new production methods.

In the case of a hit, the organic, rounded features effectively dissipate energy. Jamming and snagging are also avoided. The additional stainless steel plate within absorbs direct strikes.Even the catalytic converter is adequately secured because the RALLY engine guard reaches behind the main stand of your GS.Starting chamfers, for example, protect the screw heads during off-road use.

Thanks to the use of hex screws the installation / removal of the motor protection is very easy when you maintain your GS.
